Location
All five apartments are right in downtown San Carlos de Bariloche — Av. San Martín 440 and Güemes 540 and Panossi 63, 50 meters from the Centro Cívico — a few blocks from the shore of Lake Nahuel Huapi. Restaurants, chocolate shops, and stores are all within walking distance; you don't need a car for day-to-day.
As a base for exploring Bariloche, downtown pays off: the classic excursions leave from here, the Circuito Chico is about 25 km (16 mi) away, Cerro Catedral about 19 km (12 mi), and the airport about 14 km (9 mi). You come back from the mountain and you're two blocks from dinner.
Parking
Parking in downtown Bariloche has two problems: street parking is metered — you pay by the hour — and even paying, a free spot usually turns up blocks away. You know how it ends: the car sits far from the apartment and the luggage goes back and forth by hand. Every apartment has parking in a closed garage — but the cost depends on which one: at Güemes 540 it is included, and in the others it is quoted separately. We only charge those who use it, because it would be unfair to make someone arriving by plane pay for a garage they will never park in. Tell us if you are coming by car and we confirm what applies before you book.
